The votes are in: BDA has once again earned a coveted spot on the Seattle Business’ Top 100 Best Companies to Work For. The award committee and BDA employees provided feedback on the workplace, culture and leadership that ultimately earned BDA a spot among the best large companies in Washington for the eighth time.
Through its annual 100 Best Companies to Work For program, Seattle Business aims to recognize the most desirable and outstanding companies for employees throughout Washington state. Winners are determined through a comprehensive survey issued to employees of each nominated company. Companies with the best employee reviews and ratings are selected, and winners are categorized into small, midsize and large companies.
Rankings are based on scores derived from confidential employee survey responses across 10 categories: benefits, communication, corporate culture, hiring, retention, executive leadership, performance standards, responsibility, decision making, rewards, recognition, training, education and workplace environment.
We recognize our employees are the lifeblood of BDA, and it is thanks to each employee survey vote that BDA was a top contender for the prestigious award. Whether it be the weekly “Beer Friday’s,” on-site fitness center, company-wide community service events, or the reserved mommy-to-be parking, employees voted BDA as one of the best companies to work for. Among other recipients, BDA ranked 12th in the Large Company category.
Jay Deutsch, CEO and co-founder, accepted the award at the ceremony dinner and gala on June 22 at the Washington State Convention Center. Called the “business party of the year,” Jay and 10 other BDA employees were among more than 1,000 attendees at the gala.
