BDA opens new office in the Philippines

At BDA, we’re consistently looking for ways to better serve our clients both domestically and internationally. As a result, we’ve opened an office in Manila, Philippines because it links North American and China operations with the UK office and allows us to scale quickly to the international needs of our clients in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA region). The team in Manila will focus on sales and marketing, creative and supply chain management services.

To announce the opening of the new corporate office to employees, the leadership team initiated a Skype call during the international sales meeting last month. What started out as two BDA employees waving “hello” from abroad, quickly turned into a surprise announcement of the new global team.

Manila BDA'ers jumped out from behind the camera enthusiastically smiling and waving – the entire company gave a standing ovation and waved hello to their newest teammates. Even Tigger, the un-official BDA mascot showed up. (Click through the gallery below to see the announcement!)

Sales operations managers from BDA HQ flew over to Manila to teach the new team the BDA values and business model in preparation for their first assignment. After a long week, HQ employees made sure their newest colleagues learned one of BDA’s most important values: Work Hard, Play Hard. Check out the photos from the teams’ first week below!

Located in the heart of the financial district of Manila, the BDA Philippines office services clients through a mix of global sourcing, innovative promotional campaigns and providing world-class customer service. Similar to other global BDA offices, the focus is to support enterprise-wide branded merchandise objectives and deliver ROI.

To mitigate time differences and delays overseas, the BDA Philippines team will work in the same local time zone as their account team located in Woodinville, allowing all of us to be more nimble and efficient for our clients.
